Lochore Castle Heather

Lochore Meadow Fabric

Lochore Castle Heather has a deep, dusky purple ground with a closely packed horizontal weave. Small flashes of lilac, blue, cream and muted red give the surface a softly heathered, tactile character.

About this fabric

The fabric is visibly constructed from irregular horizontal rows of small woven marks, creating a compact tweed-like texture rather than a printed motif. Its dark plum-purple tone reads cool and muted, while scattered pale flecks catch the light across the surface and prevent the colour from appearing flat. Occasional red and blue accents add subtle depth without becoming a dominant pattern. No additional composition, width, rub-test or performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use this deep heathered purple on a reading chair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its small-scale flecks can add depth against plain walls and quieter textiles. Pair it with soft grey, charcoal, aged timber or muted berry tones to draw out the cool plum base.

A richly flecked purple woven with enough visual depth to anchor an upholstered chair, sofa or headboard.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
