Lochore Castle Pebble

Lochore Meadow Fabric

Lochore Castle Pebble has a deep charcoal-grey ground, softened by scattered pale flecks that give the surface a gently weathered, pebble-like character. Its close-up texture appears chunky and tactile, with irregular horizontal and vertical interruptions across the weave.

About this fabric

The fabric is catalogued as a textile fabric, and the image shows a substantial-looking woven surface rather than a smooth or fluid cloth. Charcoal, graphite and soft grey threads create a low-contrast, broken check effect, while the lighter yarns catch the light in small, uneven points. No composition, width, rub-test or performance specification is supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use this cool, deep grey on relaxed seating where its uneven flecking can add quiet depth without introducing a strong graphic pattern. Balance the charcoal tone with chalky neutrals, natural wood and softly textured textiles.

Use this dark, tactile charcoal weave to bring depth to relaxed upholstery and pair it with pale timber, stone or warm metal.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
