About this fabric

The fabric has an even woven face rather than a printed motif, giving the colour a calm, textural appearance. Fine horizontal and vertical threads form a delicate grid, while the lightly mottled surface keeps the brown from looking flat. The shade reads warm and muted, with a gentle terracotta lift in brighter areas. No composition, width or rub-test information has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Hackney Nut on an upholstered chair, sofa or headboard where its warm brown tone can bring depth without becoming visually heavy. Pair it with plaster shades, aged timber and muted rust accents to draw out the fabric’s earthy warmth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
