About this fabric

This Kirkby Design fabric is defined by a dense monochrome weave, with tiny light and dark yarns creating a crisp, salt-and-pepper effect. The overall tone sits on the cool side of grey, while the broken flecks prevent the black elements from feeling severe. Subtle shifts in the woven surface create low-contrast tonal movement across the swatch, giving plain upholstery a little visual texture without introducing a strong repeated motif. No composition, width or performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Gobi Monochrome on a contemporary sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its cool charcoal-grey ground can balance pale timber, stone and warm neutral accents. Pair it with solid black details for definition, or soften it with off-white boucle and natural wood.
