About this fabric

The swatch has a dense, even weave that reads as substantial and well suited to upholstery. Its mustard colour sits between golden ochre and earthy brown, giving it a warm, grounded character rather than a bright yellow appearance. Fine tonal flecks and tiny variations in the weave create gentle depth, while the low-key surface catches the light without appearing glossy. The design is visually plain, with the interest coming from the tactile woven construction and nuanced colour variation.

How to use it

Use Gobi Mustard on an armchair, sofa or dining seat where its warm ochre tone can add a sunlit focal point. Pair it with dark timber, aged brass and earthy neutrals to draw out the brown flecks in the weave.
