Gobi Parchment

Gobi Fabric

Gobi Parchment has a warm parchment-taupe ground with a finely mottled surface. The close, even texture gives the colour gentle depth rather than a flat block of beige.

About this fabric

Across the swatch, pale beige and taupe threads combine into a softly flecked, parchment-like tone. The small-scale woven texture is dense and consistent, with tiny tonal variations visible throughout the surface. Its warm neutral cast keeps the colour understated, while the close weave adds tactile interest when viewed up close. This is a textile colourway with a structured appearance suited to upholstered applications.

How to use it

Use Gobi Parchment to upholster a sofa, armchair or dining chair where its warm taupe-beige tone can soften darker timber and contrast with olive, rust or charcoal accents. Its subtle mottling is particularly useful when a plain neutral feels too stark.

A warm, softly mottled neutral with a compact woven texture that brings subtle depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
