Gobi Rose

Gobi Fabric

Gobi Rose is a muted rose-mauve woven with a softly mottled, close-textured surface. Its dusty warmth gives the colourway a grounded, gently aged appearance rather than a bright pink finish.

About this fabric

The fabric face appears densely woven, with fine tonal variation that creates a subtly grainy texture across the rose-mauve ground. Small shifts between dusty pink, mauve and warm brown make the surface look softly dimensional as the light moves across it. The close construction gives this colourway a more substantial upholstery character than a fine, fluid cloth. No composition, width, rub-test or performance figures are supplied for this fabric, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

Use Gobi Rose on an occasional chair, headboard or compact sofa where its dusty mauve-pink tone can warm a scheme without becoming vivid. It sits naturally with oatmeal, putty, walnut and aged brass.

Pair its muted rose-mauve tone with warm neutrals, walnut and softly aged metals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
