Gobi Paprika
Gobi Fabric
Gobi Paprika has a deep paprika-red ground with a closely mottled weave that shifts between warm red, rust and charcoal. The subdued flecking gives the surface a quietly layered appearance rather than a printed pattern.

About this fabric
The compact textile surface reads as a substantial upholstery cloth, with fine irregular threads creating a softly grainy texture across the colourway. Its paprika base is warm and earthy, while darker charcoal notes settle into the weave and add depth to the red. The overall effect is rich but restrained, with no distinct repeat or motif visible in the swatch. No performance features are noted for this fabric.
How to use it
Use Gobi Paprika on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its warm red tone can anchor a room. Pair it with charcoal, aged timber and muted natural shades to draw out the darker flecks in its weave.
A deep, warm red with a finely mottled surface that brings depth to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with
Gobi Paprika is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
