Gobi Orange

Gobi Fabric

Gobi Orange is a warm, earthy textile with a deep rust-orange ground and fine darker flecks running through its close, even weave. The restrained surface texture gives the colour gentle depth rather than a flat, uniform appearance.

About this fabric

The swatch has a tightly woven, granular surface in layered rust, burnt orange and brownish tones. Its small-scale tonal variation is visible across the face, with darker threads tempering the warmth of the orange. The dense appearance makes it best suited to upholstery rather than a light, fluid drapery application. No performance features or further specification data are noted for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Gobi Orange on an occasional chair, bench or sofa to bring a grounded, warm accent to a room. Its earthy rust tone works particularly well alongside walnut, dark wood, cream and muted olive.

Pair this warm rust-orange weave with walnut, natural timber and softly contrasting neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
