Gobi Terracotta

Gobi Fabric

Gobi Terracotta is a warm, earthen textile with a close, finely flecked weave. Its russet-copper colouring gives the plain surface depth without introducing a visible motif.

About this fabric

The dense surface is built from tiny interlaced yarns, creating a tactile texture with softly mottled tonal variation across the terracotta ground. Warm russet, copper and muted brown notes shift subtly through the weave, giving the colourway a grounded, sun-baked character rather than a bright orange appearance. Catalogued as a fabric, this colourway has no performance features noted in the supplied information. Its substantial-looking woven face makes it particularly well suited to upholstered furniture.

How to use it

Use Gobi Terracotta on a reading chair, bench or sofa to add warm earthen colour, pairing it with oatmeal, tobacco leather, dark timber and aged brass. The fine woven texture works especially well where a plain upholstery fabric needs more visual depth.

Use this warm terracotta weave to bring earthy depth to upholstered seating, especially alongside natural timber and muted neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
