Gobi Marine

Gobi Fabric

Gobi Marine is a cool, greyed marine blue with a restrained blue-green cast. Across the swatch, a fine all-over weave and tiny tonal flecks create a softly textured, misted surface rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

Rendered in a cool marine blue softened with grey-green, Gobi Marine has a quiet, mineral depth rather than a bright or saturated blue. The close, fine weave is visibly flecked, with tiny pale and darker threads breaking up the surface and giving it a gently heathered appearance. Its even face reads as a plain textile at room scale, while the subtle yarn variation becomes clearer close up. No performance features are noted for this colourway, and no composition, width or rub-test figures have been supplied.

How to use it

Use Gobi Marine on seating where its muted blue-green tone can act as a calm foundation for pale wood, chalky neutrals or darker blue accents. Its finely flecked surface adds interest without introducing a strong pattern.

A cool, softly flecked marine teal that brings quiet colour and texture to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
