Gobi Jute

Gobi Fabric

Gobi Jute has a warm jute-beige ground with a softly varied surface that gives the plain weave visible depth. Its close-up texture reads as natural and quietly tactile rather than flat.

About this fabric

The fabric is built from tightly interlaced yarns, with fine ivory and taupe flecks breaking up the beige ground across the surface. Uneven tonal threads catch the light gently, creating a dry, matte appearance with the character of a natural jute textile. The dense woven look gives this colourway a grounded, relaxed quality, while its restrained pattern keeps the overall effect calm and versatile for upholstery.

How to use it

Use Gobi Jute on an armchair, headboard or sofa where its warm beige tone can sit comfortably alongside timber, linen and softly contrasting taupes. Pair it with darker brown accents to bring out the depth in its flecked weave.

A warm, natural beige weave that brings subtle texture and an easy, grounded feel to upholstered pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
