About this fabric

The cobalt blue reads vivid and cool, while the weave softens its intensity with delicate lighter and darker threads. A fine crosshatched texture is visible across the surface rather than a printed motif, giving the cloth a quietly tactile appearance. Its even, closely woven structure makes it suitable for both upholstery and drapery based on the visible cloth weight. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Hackney Cobalt to bring a clear, cool blue accent to seating, cushions or curtains, particularly alongside crisp whites, pale greys and deeper navy tones. Its plain woven surface can add colour without introducing a competing pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
