Buta Apple

Indira Fabrics FabricCCF0847-01

Buta Apple is a finely detailed textile covered in small curling paisley motifs, softened by a pale apple-green and ivory palette. Its light, airy colouring lets the intricate pattern remain decorative without becoming visually heavy.

About this fabric

The design shows tightly spaced paisley curls and tiny dotted floral details in muted apple green over a warm ivory ground, with subtle cool flecks visible between the motifs. At 252 gsm and 38 threads per cm, the cloth has a fine, closely made feel suited to both soft furnishings and window treatments. It has a usable width of 137 cm, with a 17.1 cm vertical repeat and a 34.3 cm horizontal repeat. The gentle green tone reads fresh and restrained rather than bright, giving the small-scale pattern a quietly smart finish.

How to use it

Use Buta Apple to bring a soft botanical note to a light, calm scheme: it would suit an occasional chair, tailored cushions or relaxed curtains alongside ivory, pale timber and muted green accents.

The fresh apple-green and ivory palette brings a light, quietly decorative feel to upholstery, cushions and curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Buta Apple without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
