About this fabric

This 186 gsm woven fabric is patterned with closely spaced diamond forms, concentric markings and fine horizontal texture in pale white against the ink-blue ground. The dark blue tone reads cool and saturated in the swatch, while the lighter motifs create a finely grained contrast rather than a bold block print. Its 21.3 cm vertical repeat and 17.5 cm horizontal repeat keep the geometric rhythm consistent across cushions, upholstery panels or curtain widths. At 141 cm wide, Kazue Ink is a versatile mid-weight textile for both upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Use Kazue Ink to sharpen a Japandi room with cool blue upholstery, framed cushions or simple curtains, pairing its pale diamond detailing with light timber, chalky neutrals and unfussy forms.

Use the cool ink-blue ground with pale geometric detailing to bring crisp contrast to Japandi seating, cushions or relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
