About this fabric

The 220 gsm specification and 44 threads per cm indicate a versatile mid-weight textile suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. Its usable width is 139.8 cm, with a 63.2 cm vertical repeat and a 69 cm horizontal repeat for aligning the densely populated design. Against the cool, near-navy ground, the multicoloured motifs read clearly: pale animals and figures sit alongside yellow blooms, pink flowers, leafy green stems and winding red, cream and blue serpents. The dark colourway gives the whimsical pattern extra depth, while the scattered bright details keep it animated rather than sombre.

How to use it

Pair this midnight colourway with warm timber, aged brass and plain textiles in muted olive, ochre or soft pink. It works especially well as a characterful accent on a reading chair, Roman blind or statement cushion.
