Aikyo Midnight

Japandi Fabrics FabricSCF0065-01

Aikyo Midnight brings a deep blue-charcoal ground to a tightly ordered geometric of pale, faceted lines. The contrast gives the swatch a cool, architectural depth, while the fine woven surface softens the precision of the pattern.

About this fabric

This substantial 475gsm fabric is suited to upholstery, with a 128cm usable width and a dense construction of 39 threads per centimetre. Interlocking fan- and leaf-like facets repeat across the cloth at 19.6cm vertically and 32.3cm horizontally. Against the midnight blue-charcoal base, the ivory lines appear crisp without making the colourway feel bright, creating a composed, graphic finish with visible woven texture.

How to use it

Use Aikyo Midnight on a structured armchair, banquette or dining seat where its cool blue-charcoal depth can anchor a room. Pair it with pale oak, smoked timber, chalky walls and understated cream upholstery to echo the contrast of the ivory geometry.

Use this deep blue-charcoal geometric for tailored upholstery, balancing its pale linear pattern with warm timber and restrained neutral accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
