About this fabric

The sage background has a softly muted, almost chalky tone, while the poppy-red flowers provide clear, warm flashes of colour across the surface. Each bloom has an irregular brush-painted edge and a small pale centre, with slender white stems and finely cut leaves creating movement through the design. At 218 gsm and 38 threads per cm, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. Its 139 cm usable width and 63.5 cm vertical by 68.6 cm horizontal repeat should be allowed for when planning placement.

How to use it

Use this colourway to freshen a neutral room with sage curtains or a statement upholstered chair, then echo the poppy red in cushions or small painted accents. The cool ground keeps the lively floral from feeling heavy.

Use the cool sage ground and vivid poppy-red flowers to bring a fresh, informal garden accent to seating, cushions or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Poppy Pop Sage/Poppy without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
