About this fabric

The design is formed from branching stems and small paired leaves, with the muted denim blue reading gently weathered rather than bright or saturated. Its natural ivory-beige ground gives the colourway a softly sunlit appearance, while the fine woven grid remains visible between the motifs. With a 510gsm weight, a 137cm usable width and a 39.5cm vertical repeat, it is a substantial fabric for upholstery projects. The 35cm horizontal repeat allows the botanical branches to flow across wider upholstered panels.

How to use it

Use Ferndown Denim on an occasional chair, headboard or traditional sofa where its cool blue foliage can sit against warm timber and natural neutral walls. Repeat the denim tone sparingly in cushions or painted joinery to draw out the pattern without making the room feel overly blue.

Pair the cool denim-blue foliage with warm natural linens, timber and softly aged finishes.
