Ferndown Linen pairs a warm, softly mottled linen-beige ground with delicate taupe botanical branches. The woven surface gives the pale colourway gentle depth, while the foliage remains clearly defined.

About this fabric

This 510gsm fabric has a substantial woven handle suited to upholstery, with a lightly irregular texture visible across the pale linen-toned ground. Taupe-beige stems and small leaves form branching sprays, creating a softly contrasting botanical pattern rather than a bold graphic. The usable width is 137cm, with a 39.5cm vertical repeat and 35cm horizontal repeat for planning pattern placement. Its 40m standard length supports continuity across larger upholstery projects.

How to use it

Use Ferndown Linen on a country-style armchair, sofa or dining seat, pairing its warm beige base with aged oak, chalky painted timber and muted taupe accessories. The low-contrast foliage also works well where a room needs pattern without losing a light, calm feel.

Use this warm linen-beige botanical for upholstered seating where its taupe foliage can soften timber and natural textures.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
