Milton Citron has a softly muted yellow-green tone, shown here in a close plain weave with a fine crosshatched texture. Its lightly varied surface gives the citron shade gentle depth rather than a flat, high-saturation finish.

About this fabric

The woven surface combines pale citron yellow with restrained olive-green undertones, creating a warm, softened colour that changes subtly as the light catches the yarns. A fine horizontal and vertical texture is visible across the cloth, with no printed motif or visible pattern repeat. At 519 gsm and 137 cm usable width, Milton Citron has the substantial handle expected of an upholstery fabric. The supplied standard length is 40 m, while both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0 cm.

How to use it

Use Milton Citron on a sofa, occasional chair or headboard where its mellow yellow-green tone can lift neutral schemes without becoming overly bright. Pair the textured plain weave with warm oak, natural linen and softly aged brass.

Use this warm yellow-green woven plain cloth to bring subtle colour and tactile depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
