Hampstead Storm

Halcyon FabricCCF0180-05

Hampstead Storm brings a cool, subdued character to the Halcyon collection, with a softly mottled grey-green ground and a fine repeating lattice. The close-set geometric pattern reads with gentle depth rather than strong contrast.

About this fabric

The 396 gsm construction gives this textile a substantial, upholstery-oriented presence. Its storm-grey ground is cool and softly muted, with a faint olive-grey cast that changes subtly across the woven surface. Tiny dark geometric diamonds form a closely spaced lattice, while the weave breaks up the colour with restrained tonal variation. With a 137 cm usable width, 40 m standard length and a compact 10 cm vertical by 8.5 cm horizontal repeat, it offers a neat, regular pattern for considered placement.

How to use it

Pair Hampstead Storm with chalky neutrals, weathered timber and brushed metal for a calm, contemporary scheme. Its cool olive-grey tone is especially suited to tailored armchairs, dining seats and understated sofas.

Use the cool, muted storm-grey lattice to bring quiet definition to upholstered seating and occasional chairs.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hampstead Storm without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
