Shaw Cream

Shaw FabricF4336-01

Shaw Cream shows a fine, interlaced lattice pattern in a soft warm cream with a subtle straw-toned cast. The tiny repeating motif gives the fabric a crisp, tailored look without losing its gentle, light-reflective finish.

About this fabric

This Colefax and Fowler fabric is composed of 50% viscose, 28% cotton, 12% linen and 10% polyester, giving the cloth a woven handle that sits comfortably in the mid-weight category. The repeat is approximately V 4cm / H 3cm, and that small diamond-like geometry reads clearly in the image without becoming bold or busy. In Shaw Cream, the ground colour feels creamy and sun-warmed rather than stark white, while the lighter lattice threads add a soft tonal lift across the surface. At approximately 139cm wide, it is a versatile cloth for pieces that need a refined, restrained pattern with a calm, classic finish.

How to use it

Use Shaw Cream on a sofa, upholstered bench or tailored blind where the small-scale lattice can add quiet structure. Its warm cream tone pairs especially well with oak, pale plaster, natural linen and softly aged brass.

A neat small-scale cream lattice that works well on tailored upholstery or understated curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
