About this fabric

Safari Midnight from Ashley Wilde’s Serengeti Collection is a 100% polyester fabric made for general domestic upholstery and drapes. The cloth has a reassuring 25,000 rub test, a 140 cm width, and a substantial 546 g linear metre weight, giving this printed design enough body for everyday interiors. Visually, the colourway sits in a deep teal-navy register, which makes the giraffes, zebras, leopards and palms read in a quieter, more sophisticated way than a brighter tropical print. The repeat of 70 cm vertical by 69 cm horizontal supports the large-scale conversational layout, so the pattern feels expansive rather than crowded.

How to use it

This darker teal colourway works well with walnut, rattan and aged brass, where the cool ground gives the warm finishes more contrast. It is especially effective on armchairs, curtains or loose covers when you want the safari motif to feel rich and atmospheric rather than playful.
