Orion Mineral has a finely broken, densely woven surface in a cool mineral blend of sage green, soft grey, ivory and muted beige. Its small-scale flecking gives the swatch a softly variegated appearance, with no single colour dominating the close-textured ground.

About this fabric

The 584gsm weight gives Orion Mineral the substantial presence expected of an upholstery cloth, while the compact irregular weave keeps the pattern discreet rather than decorative. Pale sage and grey threads shift gently across the surface, creating a cool, stone-like tone warmed by scattered ivory and beige highlights. The design has a 40.5cm vertical repeat and 35cm horizontal repeat, although the tightly distributed marks make those repeats visually quiet. With a 138cm usable width and 40m standard length, it is practical for planning coordinated upholstery panels and seating projects.

How to use it

Use Orion Mineral on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its cool sage-grey tone can sit comfortably with chalky walls, light oak and natural linen. Its finely mottled surface also pairs well with deeper olive or charcoal accents for added contrast without overwhelming the room.
