About this fabric

Part of Clarke & Clarke’s Edgeworth collection, this 301gsm fabric has a 140cm usable width and a 5.5cm horizontal pattern repeat, with no vertical repeat. The deep racing-green lines read as cool and assured against the pale linen background, while subtle tonal variation in the weave softens their contrast. Its mid-weight construction makes it suitable for both upholstery and drapery, where the close stripe can add height and structure without dominating the room.

How to use it

Pair Edison with chalky whites, warm stone and natural timber to highlight the contrast between its pale ground and deep green stripes. On a chair or blind, its narrow vertical rhythm gives a crisp, quietly tailored finish.
