About this fabric

The small woven motif forms closely spaced diamond and scale-like shapes, with spice-orange points standing out against a dark forest and blue-slate ground. The colourway reads earthy and slightly subdued rather than bright, while the raised-looking weave catches the light in small flecks across the surface. At 620gsm, it has the substantial visual and physical presence expected of an upholstery fabric. The 1.5cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats keep the design finely detailed, and the usable width is 138cm with a standard length of 40m.

How to use it

Use Lyra Spice/Forest on a statement armchair, ottoman or sofa where its deep green ground can anchor a room. Pick up the spice-orange accents with warm timber, aged brass or rust-toned plain textiles.

A dense, weighty geometric weave that brings deep forest green and spice-orange accents to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lyra Spice/Forest without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
