Muro Linen

Espectro Weaves FabricCCF0854-04

Muro Linen has a warm ivory ground crossed by irregular pale taupe marks, creating a softly weathered, horizontal texture. The broken, block-like pattern gives the light colourway subtle depth without becoming visually heavy.

About this fabric

This substantial 587 gsm textile is suited to upholstery, with a 140.5 cm usable width for covering furniture panels and seating. Its 80 threads per cm contribute to the dense woven appearance visible across the swatch. The design repeats over 56 cm vertically and 35 cm horizontally, forming staggered rows of short, uneven taupe strokes rather than a rigid geometric grid. In this colourway, the warm ivory base catches the light while the muted taupe markings add a gentle greige contrast.

How to use it

Pair Muro Linen with natural oak, chalky paint and warm stone tones to draw out its ivory ground, or use dark timber to sharpen the contrast with the pale taupe pattern. It works particularly well on relaxed, tailored upholstery where the horizontal weave can be seen across broad surfaces.

Use this warm ivory and pale taupe weave to soften tailored upholstery while keeping the room light and quietly textured.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
