Quarzo Midnight

Metalli FabricCCF0525-04

Quarzo Midnight is a near-black navy textile with a densely worked, irregular surface. Its cool, deep tone absorbs most of the light while fine raised marks catch subtle highlights across the weave.

About this fabric

The dark blue ground is layered with broken horizontal and vertical slubs, creating a small-scale textured pattern rather than a flat solid colour. At 401gsm, the cloth has a substantial woven presence that makes it particularly well suited to upholstery. It has a usable width of 135cm and a standard length of 40m. The pattern repeats every 8.5cm vertically and 5.5cm horizontally, keeping the fractured surface detail closely spaced across a larger piece.

How to use it

Pair Quarzo Midnight with pale stone, chalk or smoked oak to give its cool, almost-black navy tone room to read clearly. It works especially well on tailored seating or a headboard where the shifting texture can be seen up close.

Use this deep midnight-blue woven texture to add quiet depth to sofas, occasional chairs and headboards.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
