About this fabric

This 326gsm woven textile has a substantial appearance, with fine slub-like texture visible across the pale ground and within the muted blue stripes. The duckegg tone reads cool and softly washed rather than bright, giving the vertical pattern a calm, understated depth. A 12cm horizontal pattern repeat spaces the irregular stripes across the 137cm usable width. The standard length is 40m, making this a practical choice for coordinated upholstery projects.

How to use it

Use the cool duckegg stripes on an upholstered chair, headboard or sofa alongside chalky cream, warm ivory and pale natural wood. The muted blue gives the room a fresh lift without overpowering the softly textured ground.

Use the cool duckegg stripes with chalky neutrals, pale timber and relaxed upholstery for a softly coastal feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Knowsley Duckegg without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
