Knowsley Chambray

Manor House FabricCCF0068-01

Knowsley Chambray has a cool, pale blue-grey ground crossed by narrow, deep navy vertical stripes. Its lightly textured woven surface gives the colourway a softly weathered chambray character rather than a flat printed finish.

About this fabric

The woven face combines a misty blue-grey base with slim navy lines whose slightly irregular edges remain visible across the cloth. The stripe arrangement has a 12cm horizontal repeat and no vertical repeat, allowing the lines to run continuously when used vertically. At 326gsm and 137cm wide, this is a substantial mid-weight textile suited to both upholstery and drapery. Each standard length is 40 metres, providing a practical continuous run for larger projects.

How to use it

Pair the cool blue-grey ground with chalky whites, soft grey woods and aged navy accents for a calm, tailored scheme. The vertical stripes can add quiet height to curtains or a crisp direction to a chair, bench or headboard.

Use the cool blue-grey ground and navy striping to bring a relaxed tailored feel to upholstery, cushions or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Knowsley Chambray without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
