About this fabric

The cool dusty pink tone has a softened, powdery quality, while the ivory pattern gives the design a light, chalky contrast rather than a hard graphic effect. Visible woven texture adds subtle depth to the floral damask, with paired birds sitting among curling leaves and stylised blooms. At 301gsm, this is a substantial mid-weight textile suitable for both upholstery and drapery. It has a 137cm usable width, with a 44.2cm vertical repeat and 34.4cm horizontal repeat for planning pattern placement.

How to use it

Use Harewood Orchid on a traditional armchair, dining chair or full-length curtain where its cool pink-and-ivory palette can soften deeper wood tones. Pair it with warm ivory, faded rose or muted taupe to draw out its gentle, heritage character.

Use this muted orchid damask to bring traditional pattern and gentle colour to upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
