About this fabric

The chambray-blue ground has a dusty, softened quality, while the cream motifs create clear but low-contrast definition across the surface. Stylised birds sit among curling leaves, rosettes and large floral forms, creating a balanced, traditional damask arrangement. At 301 gsm and 137 cm usable width, this is a substantial mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. The pattern measures 44.2 cm vertically by 34.4 cm horizontally, so the repeated ornament will remain an important part of the finished design.

How to use it

Use Harewood Chambray on a reading chair, headboard or full-length curtains where its cool blue tone can sit against ivory walls and warm timber. Its cream detailing also works well with stone, oatmeal and muted navy accents.

Pair the cool chambray ground with warm ivory, chalky neutrals or dark painted timber to bring out the traditional damask detail.
