About this fabric

From Clarke & Clarke’s Metalli collection, this 95gsm textile has a narrow vertical ribbed appearance in ebony, threaded with restrained gold-toned highlights. The closely repeated lines create a small-scale stripe effect, with a horizontal pattern repeat of 0.9 cm and no vertical repeat. Its 307 cm usable width is particularly practical for full-height drapery, while the 40 m standard length supports larger furnishing schemes. The dark ground keeps the metallic detail controlled rather than bright, giving the cloth a tailored, softly lustrous character.

How to use it

Hang Matteo Ebony/Gold as full-width curtains where its near-black tone can add depth, then echo the fine gold glint with aged brass hardware or warm low-level lighting. Its narrow vertical ribbing will give the window treatment a neat, elongated finish.

Use the dark ebony ground and fine gold ribbing for tailored curtains or blinds with a subtle metallic lift.
