Herrera Noir is a dark, graphic wallpaper built from irregular vertical bands in charcoal black and cool slate grey. Small olive-khaki marks break through the stripes, adding weathered depth without brightening the overall mood.

About this fabric

The design combines broad black columns with narrower slate and blue-grey passages, while distressed olive accents appear like worn brush marks across the surface. A fine horizontal grain is visible through the colour fields, giving the flat graphic pattern a subtly textured appearance. The wallpaper has a 52 cm usable width and a 10.05 m standard length, with a 64 cm vertical pattern repeat and no horizontal repeat. Its listed weight is 180 gsm, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

Use Herrera Noir on a feature wall in a study, snug or contemporary dining room, where its charcoal ground can create depth behind warm timber, aged brass or muted olive furnishings. Keep surrounding colours restrained so the vertical slate-and-black movement remains the focal point.

Use this dark, vertically striated colourway to bring graphic depth and an atmospheric finish to a feature wall.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Herrera Noir without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
