Kazimir Ink

Metropolitan Wallcoverings WallpaperCCW0145-02

Kazimir Ink brings a cool, architectural quality to the wall through deep ink-blue blocks, pale ivory breaks and densely worked linear marks. The vertical composition has a deliberately weathered, almost screen-printed character.

About this fabric

This Clarke & Clarke wallpaper is formed from irregular vertical panels in saturated ink blue and softened ivory, overlaid with fine horizontal and vertical lines that create a layered, crosshatched effect. The dark blue reads deep and cool rather than bright, while the ivory ground keeps the overall design open and light-catching. Supplied at 52cm wide, it has a 52cm vertical pattern repeat and no horizontal repeat, allowing the tall arrangement to continue rhythmically across the wall. The standard roll length is 10.05m and the stated weight is 180gsm.

How to use it

Pair Kazimir Ink with chalky ivory, pale timber and brushed metal to balance its cool blue depth, or use it behind built-in shelving where the vertical blocks can act as a graphic backdrop. Its tailored contrast also suits a study, hallway or contemporary sitting room.

Use this cool ink-and-ivory colourway to bring graphic depth to a contemporary or tailored interior.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
