Midori Smoke is a pale smoky greige textile with a quiet, finely crosshatched surface. The close vertical and horizontal threads give the colour a lightly dimensional appearance rather than a flat block of grey.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a cool, softened grey-beige, with lighter threads catching across the surface to create subtle depth. Its fine woven texture is visible as a delicate crosshatch, while the absence of a visible motif is reflected in the 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats. At 112gsm, it is a light fabric that is particularly well suited to drapery and softly diffused window treatments. The generous 297cm usable width supports broad curtain drops with fewer joins, and the standard length is 40m.

How to use it

Use Midori Smoke for full-height curtains where its pale greige tone can temper brighter whites and sit comfortably alongside stone, chalk and washed timber. Its fine texture adds quiet interest without introducing a competing pattern.

Its pale smoky greige tone and fine crosshatch weave suit softly filtered curtains and relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
