Reece Biscuit

Reece FabricJ0268-11

Reece Biscuit is a calm, plain woven fabric in a soft biscuit beige with a gentle, powdery surface. The colour reads warm and easygoing, with just enough texture to keep the cloth from looking flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 70% cotton and 30% linen, this fabric has the relaxed, natural handle you expect from that fibre blend, while the 142cm approximate width makes it straightforward for larger upholstery or curtain projects. The image shows an even biscuit tone with a subtle sandy warmth, lifted by fine slub and a lightly mottled weave rather than a glossy finish. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, the surface reads as a clean plain rather than a patterned design. The overall effect is understated and lived-in, sitting between cream and beige without tipping yellow.

How to use it

Use Reece Biscuit to soften tailored upholstery, Roman blinds or relaxed curtains where you want a warm neutral rather than a stark off-white. It works especially well with natural timber, chalky paint colours and darker accent fabrics that need a lighter ground.

A warm neutral that layers easily with oak, linen and painted finishes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
