Reece Duck Egg is a softly washed pale blue with a calm, airy finish and a subtle linen-cotton texture. The colour reads light and cool, with just enough depth to feel inviting rather than stark.

About this fabric

Woven in 70% cotton and 30% linen, this fabric has a natural handle that suits both upholstery and curtains, and the 142cm approximate width makes it straightforward to work with. The surface appears plain rather than patterned, with a very fine weave and a gentle matte softness that keeps the duck egg tone understated. Vertical and horizontal repeat are both listed as 0cm approx, so the appeal here is all in the colour and texture rather than motif. The shade sits in a fresh, milky blue range, giving it a restful, slightly coastal character without becoming bright or icy. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for practical specification.

How to use it

Use it on a small sofa, armchair, or full-height curtains where the pale blue can brighten the room without overwhelming it. It pairs especially well with chalk whites, pale oak, and other muted coastal tones.

A calming pale blue that works beautifully on both upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
