Reece Chocolate is a quietly tailored plain with a warm taupe-brown cast and a softly heathered surface. Its low-key texture gives the colour depth without a strong pattern shift.

About this fabric

Woven in 70% cotton and 30% linen, Reece Chocolate has the natural, slightly dry handle you would expect from a cotton-linen blend. The fabric shows a fine plain weave with subtle slubs and horizontal texture, which keeps the chocolate tone from reading flat. At approximately 142cm wide with a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm, it is an easy, unfussy cloth to pattern-match. The colour sits between brown and taupe, with a muted warmth that feels grounded rather than dark or heavy.

How to use it

Use this shade on an armchair, loose cover or tailored curtains where you want a calm, earthy anchor. It pairs especially well with oak, parchment, charcoal and textured neutrals.

A refined warm taupe that sits easily with timber, leather and softer neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
