About this fabric
Woven in 64% polyester, 32% viscose and 4% cotton, Shelley Spice has a compact, pebble-like texture that reads as refined and quietly practical. The colour is a toasted beige with soft caramel and biscuit notes, giving the cloth a warm, sun-baked character. With a width of approximately 138cm and no visible repeat, it presents as an easy-to-use plain with subtle movement across the weave. The overall effect is smart and grounded, with enough tonal variation to keep upholstery feeling lively without becoming busy.
How to use it
Use Shelley Spice on an armchair, banquette or headboard where its warm neutral tone can soften timber, leather and linen. It works especially well with cream, tobacco and muted olive accents for a layered, contemporary scheme.
A warm, grounding neutral that pairs neatly with oak, tan leather and soft cream accents.

Pairs well with
Shelley Spice is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
