Belem Sand

Brasilia FabricL9481-02

Belem Sand shows a calm sand-beige ground with a gently striated, yarn-dyed texture that reads soft and natural in the light. The pattern has an understated vertical movement, giving the surface a relaxed, tactile rhythm.

About this fabric

Woven in a wool-rich blend of 48% Wool, 18% Acrylic, 18% Virgin Wool, 8% Polyamide, 7% Recycled Polyester and 1% Polyester, this 144cm-wide fabric has the look of a substantial decorative textile rather than a flat plain. The surface is softly irregular, with pale beige, oat and stone notes shifting across the weave to create a quiet mottled effect. Its approx. vertical repeat of 178cm and horizontal repeat of 72cm suggest a design with a gentle drop and a considered woven layout. With care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code Z, it is a practical choice for upholstery where a warm, restrained neutral is needed.

How to use it

Use Belem Sand on a sofa, armchair or bench to soften sharper architectural rooms and keep the palette grounded. Its muted sand tone sits comfortably with oak, linen whites and darker walnut finishes.

A softly mottled neutral that brings quiet depth to tailored seating and layered interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
