About this fabric

This Carlo fabric from Larsen is woven in 100% Polyester FR and comes in a generous 320cm approx width, with a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx for a simple, uninterrupted finish. In the swatch, the clay tone appears pale and powdery rather than strongly terracotta, with a gentle warmth that softens the grid-like weave. The texture is neat and evenly structured, so the colour feels refined and practical rather than heavy or rustic. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code Z make it a useful specification-led choice for larger interiors where a tailored look is needed.

How to use it

Use Alessi Clay for broad curtains or relaxed upholstery where you want a light, earthy neutral that won’t dominate the room. It works especially well with oak, linen whites and muted greens, letting the texture add interest while the colour stays quiet.

A calm neutral that layers easily with timber, stone and deeper earth tones.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
