Bautista Desert

Carlo FabricL9260-01

Bautista Desert shows a warm, softly faded beige ground lifted by gently textured horizontal stripes. The effect is calm and sunlit, with enough woven detail to keep the surface from feeling flat.

About this fabric

This colourway sits in a pale desert cream, with the stripes reading a little deeper and more golden than the ground cloth. The design has a clear horizontal rhythm, and the woven ribs catch the light to give the surface a dry, tactile handle. It is woven in 45% Wool, 48% Cotton and 7% Polyester, with an approximate width of 163cm and a vertical repeat of 11cm. The plain ground and measured stripe make it an easy fabric to place in rooms that need warmth without heaviness.

How to use it

Use it on relaxed upholstery, occasional chairs or cushions where the soft sandy tone can brighten darker woods. It would also sit well as tailored drapery in rooms with natural linen, oak and brushed brass.

A warm neutral stripe that brings a calm, sunlit feel to both upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
