Bernini Birch

Carlo FabricL9255-04

Bernini Birch shows a wide vertical stripe with a pale birch ground and softly contrasting creamy bands. The effect is refined and airy, with a natural woven texture that keeps the stripe from feeling stark.

About this fabric

Bernini Birch from the Carlo collection by Larsen is a wide-width fabric at approximately 320cm, with a vertical repeat of 0cm and horizontal repeat of about 37cm. Its composition of 40% linen, 35% acrylic, 20% wool and 5% viscose gives the cloth a dry, lightly textured handle that reads tailored rather than glossy. In this colourway, the stripe alternates between a muted birch-toned ground and a warmer ivory band, creating a gentle tonal contrast rather than a bold graphic statement. The overall impression is calm and smart, with the pale neutrals lifting the room while still feeling substantial enough for either curtains or upholstery.

How to use it

This colourway works well in rooms that need light without coldness, especially alongside pale timber, chalk paint or understated stone. Use the wide stripe to add quiet rhythm to curtains, or to bring a crisp, tailored look to occasional seating.

Use for tailored curtains or statement upholstery where a calm, pale stripe is wanted.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
