About this fabric

Woven in 100% silk, Stampa Linen has a fluid, decorative handle that suits drapery particularly well at its approximate 125cm width. The design shows a woven-block mosaic made up of irregular rectangles and angled strips, all drawn in delicate taupe-beige lines over a soft ivory base. Its repeat is approximately V 85cm / H 125cm, which gives the pattern a substantial scale and a rhythmic, horizontal feel. The overall colourway reads as warm linen beige rather than stark cream, with the silk surface keeping the pale ground luminous and the drawn lines gently matte.

How to use it

This colourway works well in relaxed, light-filled rooms where the warm beige ground can soften sharper architectural lines. Pair it with oak, chalky paint colours and natural weaves for a layered, tonal scheme.

Use with pale timber and textured neutrals to keep the woven look light and airy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
