About this fabric
Part of Larsen’s Brasilia collection, Selva Sand is a fabric with a 56% wool and 44% polyester composition, a width of approximately 124cm and a large repeat of V 78cm / H 62cm approx. The design is built from overlapping leaf forms, but this colourway keeps the look quiet and sun-warmed rather than high contrast. Beige and pale taupe yarns sit lightly on the ivory ground, so the motif reads soft-edged and breathable rather than dense. The woven texture adds a subtle grain that suits upholstery well, especially where a natural, relaxed finish is wanted.
How to use it
Use Selva Sand on a sofa, occasional chair or banquette to bring in a calm botanical layer without darkening the room. Its sandy beige tone works especially well with oak, cane, plaster whites and other pale natural materials.
Pair with linen textures and pale wood for an easy, natural scheme.
