About this fabric
This colourway of Larsen’s Conga collection combines 95% cotton with 5% jute, giving the fabric a dry, lightly textured handle that suits a wide range of interiors. The 136cm approx width and V 1cm / H 136cm approx repeat support a strong vertical rhythm, and the stripe layout is clearly visible in the swatch. Midnight blue and teal dominate the background, while cream bands and narrow rust-toned lines provide sharper contrast and a slightly nautical, tailored feel. The finish reads more matte than shiny, so the darker tone feels grounded rather than glossy. With no performance features noted, it is best chosen for decorative upholstery or coordinated soft furnishings where the woven character can be appreciated.
How to use it
Pair this midnight teal stripe with oak, walnut or painted off-whites for a crisp but grounded scheme. It also works well as an accent on an upholstered chair or bench where the vertical lines can add height and structure.
Use with warm woods and pale neutrals to let the teal-blue ground and slim contrast stripes stand out.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Calao Midnight without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
