Asta Sea Blue reads as a cool, softly mottled blue with a fine textured surface and a quietly matte finish. The overall effect is relaxed and coastal without becoming bright or overly crisp.

About this fabric

Asta Sea Blue from the Jane Churchill Asta collection is a 100% polyester fabric with a width of approximately 140cm and a straight, non-directional repeat. The weave has a closely worked, lightly flecked look that gives the surface gentle depth rather than a flat block of colour. In this colourway the blue sits in a pale sea-washed register, tempered by grey so it feels calm and understated rather than vivid. Its C 8 + T 3 care code and K fire rating make it a practical choice for interior schemes where appearance and specification both matter.

How to use it

Use Asta Sea Blue on an armchair, bench or relaxed curtains where its muted blue-grey tone can bring lightness without feeling chilly. It pairs especially well with whitewashed timber, chalky neutrals and brushed metal accents.

A calm sea-blue neutral that works beautifully on a tailored sofa or simple curtain.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
