About this fabric

The swatch shows a compact, melton-like texture rather than a printed motif, with tiny tonal flecks creating a gently mottled finish. Marine blue remains the dominant shade, while muted olive and charcoal threads temper its intensity and prevent the surface from reading as flat navy. The dense appearance makes it well suited to upholstery, particularly where a hard-edged solid would feel too plain. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this cool marine blue with warm timber, aged brass and soft oatmeal upholstery to bring out the restrained olive undertones. It also works against charcoal or stone neutrals when a quieter, tonal scheme is preferred.

Use this deep marine blue on upholstered seating where its fine charcoal and olive mottling can add quiet visual depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
